National Library Week recognizes the importance of libraries to our personal, academic, and professional lives. The theme for 2025 is “Drawn to the Library”, celebrating that we utilize the library in different ways and for different purposes: research, study, exploration, entertainment, connection, and growth. This semester, current faculty, staff, and administrators can earn entries into the SCC Library’s National Library Week Drawing by participating in your favorite library activities. The more entries you earn, the better your chance at winning some pretty amazing prizes.
The National Library Week Drawing is open to current SCC faculty, staff, and administrators. Earn entries by completing any of the activities listed below. Multiple entries allowed, one prize per winner. Start earning entries January 13th until April 9th at 12pm. Join us for a National Library Week celebration (with cake!) in the library on April 9th at 11:45am. Prize drawing will be held at 12pm. It is not necessary to be present to win, but it will be so much more fun if you are!

5 winners will be randomly selected from the entries. 4 of the winners will choose one prize associated with one library faculty. 1 person will win the grand prize. One prize per person. It is not necessary to be present to win, but it will be so much more fun if you are. Can't make the drawing? Winners will be contacted after the event and will have 1 week to arrange collection of their prize.
