In partnership with the Scottsdale Public Library, you have direct access to archived editions of the Scottsdale Community College newspapers from 1971 to 2012 through Scottsdale Public Library Heritage Connection. The newspaper was published by the students of Scottsdale Community College during the school year, featuring news and stories regarding the events at Scottsdale Community College and the surrounding community, as well as national and global topics.
There are several ways to find these archived documents.
1. You can follow the direct link at the bottom of this page, or search terms can be cut and pasted into the general or keyword search fields on the Scottsdale Public Library website.

2. Within your results, the left side of the screen is a list of filters to narrow your search results. Use Publication Date to narrow to specific years. Or use the Sort drop down menu on the right to organize results by Relevance, Popularity or Publication Date. Select an issue by clicking on the title.
3. Once you have chosen a newspaper to view, scroll down to "Digital content" and click on the thumbnail of the image. This will open up small images, with titles that indicate newspaper title and date of publication. There are typically JPG images of the front page. The full newspapers issues are found in the PDF files. Click on the item of interest to enlarge.
Tip! - Right click and select “Open in new window” to get a full page size of the JPG Images and PDF documents.
Once open, the JPGs and PDFs can be downloaded and saved on your personal computer or device, or printed using the icon on the upper right side.
