SCC WiFi Hotspots: Home

Information

The SCC library has a limited number of WiFi hotspots available to check out.  We are currently accepting requests. If you need a hotspot please fill out this form. 

Hotspots will be distributed based on need.  You must be a currently enrolled SCC STUDENT with a library account in good standing. We will call you when your hotspot is available with pick up instructions.

The Wi-Fi Hotspot Lending Program is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Arizona Secretary of State, with Federal Funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Additional information

  • We have a limited number of  WIFI HotSpots to checking out to students for home use.
  • Requests will be prioritized based upon need as identified by # of credits enrolled and completed, cumulative GPA, financial aid status, etc.
  • If you would like to “request” a Hotspot please fill out the form. 
  • Please note, if the equipment is damaged or lost you will be responsible for the accrued expense and a hold will be placed on your account. The estimated value of a hotspot is $75 (hotspot $65 and $10 processing fee).
  • If your request is approved, you will be contacted through your student email (MEID@maricopa.edu) which will contain a Property Agreement. Once the Property Agreement is completed by you online, you will receive instructions to schedule the date/time to pick up your hotspot from SCC.
  • Hotspots checked out for the Fall semester will be due back 12/18/20.  You will be contacted with return options.
