What is Interlibrary Loan?
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service to get you the materials we don’t have: books, articles, etc. ILLiad is the software we use for the service.
This system is a cooperative arrangement among thousands of participating libraries: statewide, regional, national, and certain parts of the world.
Books and Articles that are not available from any of the Maricopa County Community College District Libraries can be requested.
ILL service is for Scottsdale Community College faculty, staff and currently enrolled students. Community Borrowers should contact their local public library to place interlibrary loan requests.
The primary purpose of interlibrary loan is to obtain specific materials needed for specific research needs.
This service is not designed to handle textbooks requests.
You need an ILLiad account.
You can search holdings of libraries worldwide using OCLC WorldCat
Delivery
Your request may take 2-4 weeks to arrive. You will be notified when your material arrives. Books borrowed from other libraries are typically available for 3 weeks and are not eligible for renewal.
To start your request, please use the Interlibrary Loan Request (ILLIad) Form to set up an account and place your request.
