Linking to the Library's Electronic Resources: Link to Streaming Videos

The library's two main collections of streaming videos are Films on Demand and Alexander Street Press databases (Filmakers Library Online, Dance in Video, and PBS Video). Each collection requires a different method to create links to their videos.

On the library's Find Articles page click the link for

• Search for and display the video you want
• Copy the URL in the URL box near the bottom of the page (use Ctrl-C on a PC, Cmd-C on a Mac)
• Paste the URL from your clipboard (use Ctrl-V on a PC, Cmd-V on a Mac) immediately after it
  • NB: If the URL contains "2433" at the point indicated by the arrow below, you will need to correct it to "2443"

On the library's Find Articles page click a link for one of the following:

• Search for and display the video you want
• Click the Embed/Link icon below the video
• In the Permalink window that opens, copy the persistent link to the clipboard
• Paste the URL from your clipboard (use Ctrl-V on a PC, Cmd-V on a Mac)
